This reminds me of the Lily-of-the-Valley in the Kew Gardens. Born in Malaysia, I never get to see Lily-of-the-Valley until I went to Kew Gardens in London. It was the summer in 2002, I remember the beautiful flowers bloomed under sunshine.
In this painting, I used ink, acrylics and paint to construct the abstract background. The ink and acrylics were left to 'bloom' on the canvas. On top of it, I drew field of lily-of-the-valley swinging left with the wind.
This is an original painting. It is a one-off piece and can't be duplicated.
Lily-of-the-Valley 1.0 (2023) is signed on the back and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
